I love taking beautiful pieces of fabric and leather, designing, and then creating what I've envisioned. Turning a plain piece of fabric or leather into a beautiful piece of art.

Two of my favorite things and my inspiration come from animals and nature. I’ve been drawn to art in various forms - painting, sculpting, and woodcarving, but I have always returned to my love of working with textiles.

You’ll find a mixture of art quilts and leather art in whimsical, landscape, flowers, birds, wild animals, domestic animals, and a few traditional themes.

I’ve also been known to take another form of art such as a cross stitch design or a piece of linen, and make it into a gorgeous quilt art design. Sort of recycling and renewing a piece of art.
All the pieces are original designs made by myself.

It all starts with an idea of an animal or nature that I’ve seen and develops into an applique art quilt, a collage art quilt.
